Sip your favorite cocktail and don’t forget to order made-from-scratch jumbo lump crab cakes and famous Parmesan-dusted truffle fries. Traditional Spanish tapas are available at Pincho Tapas Bar, a casual spot, adjacent to Bayamo. Dishes like calamari and imported ham are prepared on an authentic la plancha grill, tableside, as diners watch. The sustainable-themed Metropolitan bar will be getting a new and larger home with new design as well, courtesy of Studio DADO.
Moderno Churrascaria Restaurant Menu
Dinner includes carving stations, salad bars and a variety of hot mains and sides. These two restaurants, both of which are included in the basic cruise fare, sit across from one another, midship, with Mixx Bar in between. Menus are the same for both, and each layout offers a mix of seating arrangements, with tables for two to six and beyond. Norwegian Getaway will homeport in Athens (Piraeus), Greece on June 25 embarking on seven- to 10-day Greek Isles roundtrip itineraries.
NCL’s Le Bistro Menu 2022 (Extra Charge)
There are also daily lunch specials in addition to the regular menu. Not a fan of cagney's, for the reasons others have mentioned... We ate in several restaurants on the Escape earlier this year and none were disappointing. If you want to try something more out of the ordinary I suggest Moderno. Great food (if you like Japanese food) and the chefs are very entertaining while preparing your food.
Pasta dishes
Moving from mid-ship to the aft on Deck 7, it will now feature a grand piano and small stage for live music with an art-deco design from mid-1900s New York. The Swirl Wine Bar also designed by Studio DADO will be “tucked away” on Deck 6. There are also daily dinner specials in addition to the regular dinner menu.
This restaurant is extremely popular, so make reservations as soon as possible. Our quintessential buffet is a crowd favorite for a reason. Available during breakfast, lunch and dinner, feel free to enjoy our meat carving station, made-to-order omelets, pasta and more. All of our ships offer beautifully crafted menus in up to three Main Dining Rooms, a Buffet and a variety of casual eateries. With our chef’s original dishes made with the finest ingredients, your dining can be as fine or as fun as you want.
So, even though I am not a huge fan of risotto, I helped myself to at least half of this side dish. Enjoy a private fine dining experience for guests of The Haven, serving unique signature dishes and wine offerings from our impressive selection. Norwegian Escape's Italian restaurant, La Cucina, is the place to go for a long, relaxing meal.

The Haven Restaurant Menu

While the staff seemed overworked, and the service was a bit slow, our entrees did not take nearly as long. For entrees, the Princess ordered the Coq au Vin, which ended up being the better of the two. Served in a large pot filled with vegetables and a burgundy reduction, the chicken was well prepared and rich in flavor.
Where does Norwegian Escape sail from?
However, at La Cucina on Norwegian Escape, the chef has done an amazing job with some classic pasta dishes. My Linguine Cioppino came chocked full with clams, mussels, shrimp, and fish in a light and sweet tomato sauce that was worthy of some bread dunking. The wife’s Tortelloni came coated in a rich sage and butter sauce that was not overly heavy and quite tasty as well.
Dining On Board Norwegian: Everything You Need to Know
But if you want to kick things up a notch, Norwegian's specialty restaurants take your mealtime to a whole new level. Whether you're a full-blown foodie or you're simply looking to try something new, you'll want to check out these seven restaurants on Norwegian's cruise ships. Kick back, relax, and enjoy your meal knowing you're in good hands. While we have sailed many times on ships with a great selection of restaurants and onboard dining, nothing could quite prepare us for our recent Norwegian Escape cruise. This new mega ship boasts over two dozen dining options. You can choose from three main dining rooms, multiple casual dining spots, and specialty dining venues featuring food from all over the globe.
You can also choose from a selection of wine, or one of Le Bistro's featured cocktails, to pair with your dinner, which includes French classics such as escargot, coq au vin and bouillabaisse. O’Sheehans’s has a more limited menu but includes favorites like burgers, hot dogs, wings, nachos, and salads. They have a nice breakfast too that is a little simpler than Taste and Savor but still offers a served meal. Lastly, O’Sheehan’s has specials each night for dinner such as prime rib or BBQ ribs and they are open 24/7. Have you dined at Le Bistro on Norwegian Escape or any other ship in NCL’s fleet?
You can choose from three main dining rooms and multiple casual dining spots as well as specialty dining venues featuring food from all over the globe. Each of the specialty restaurants on Norwegian Escape has its own unique menu. These new menus are being rolled out fleet wide across Norwegian Cruise Line. Most of the specialty restaurants on Norwegian Escape are a la carte pricing with the exception of Moderno Churrascaria and Teppanyaki which have flat fee cover charges. If you do plan on dining at a few of these specialty restaurants during your cruise, we recommend purchasing a specialty dining package. The Supper Club on Norwegian Escape offers dinner and a show for a flat fee cover charge of $29.99.
Taste Dining RoomServing a wide variety of cuisine, Taste offers a stylish and contemporary atmosphere. Plus, with a menu that changes daily and carefully selected wine recommendations, you'll experience a different culinary adventure with every visit. The dedicated restaurant for The Haven's suite passengers is spacious, yet exclusive. Meals are similar to what you'll find on the rest of the ship but are a step up in terms of quality.
Nama’s design from NCL-favorite designers Studio DADO out of Miami will draw from Manga art. With more room than its two sister ships, Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest vessel will feature several new and redesigned dining options when it arrives at Port Canaveral next spring. Norwegian Escape will be NCL’s largest vessel in Europe this season, offering eight to 10-day roundtrip sailings from Barcelona, Civitavecchia, and Trieste. Escape will also offer seven to 11-day open-jaw sailings with stints in Italy, Greece, and France with only one day at sea. Between May and November 2024, Norwegian Viva will offer nine to 11-day open-jaw voyages in the Mediterranean.
These unique itineraries will feature a different embarkation and disembarkation port in destinations such as Athens, Lisbon, Venice, and Rome. With the current promo, we get one specialty restaurant. We are leaning towards the steakhouse but wanted to get other peoples opinions as we have never done a specialty restaurant on a cruise, even though we’ve been on so many. For a truly unique experience at sea, head to Moderno Churrascaria. This signature Brazilian-style steakhouse is best-known for its mouthwatering slow-roasted meat skewers carved tableside by Norwegian's authentic Pasadores.
